North Norfolk

Hello,

I want to do some North Norfolk coastal diving however I need someone experienced in the area. I'm currently a DMT with overseas coastal diving experience and then lots of UK puddle diving. But I want to get in the salty stuff!!

Can anyone help? Please

Thanks
Arron

There is a North Norfolk seaseach group that do seasearch dives out of Wells-next-the-sea. Might be worth getting involved with that ?
There is also a BSAC club in Wells, as it is their rib that is used for the seasearch stuff.

I went out on a shore dive with Dawn of Seasearch last summer, at Weyborne. Off the beach at low tide you can see the rosellie wreck. Its ~6m deep but a nice bimble with plenty to look at, once you've done the seasearch course.

I never got out of Wells/Cley, so don't know where the wreck is there.

Try the local BSAC clubs. I know West Norfolk dive off RHIBS lots over the summer.

There are two or three good BSAC Clubs in Norfolk (BSAC 11) are in Norwich or have a chat to the guys at Norwich Scuba who have their own club ( Norwich Scuba Forum - Powered by vBulletin )

Red face North Norfolk diving

We do shore dives to the Rosalie at Weybourne and the Vera at Cley most Sundays over the summer - mostly Seasearch types, but we don't mind people joining in if they have a buddy. North Norfolk divers are the most local club, they have their own RIB and go off Weybourne beach to the deeper wrecks, almost every day when the weather's right. Wells is a bit of a sod to get in and out of since it's tidal, I think the hard boat Desert Moon goes from there. Several Norwich clubs launch at Sea Palling.

Question Southwold divers

Do you have any contact details for them? Are they a club or a commercial thing? I really need to get on some Suffolk dives this summer!
