Any shore dives around the Dundee area?

It looks like I'll be making a trip north of the border to visit my sister and my new niece (2 months old now) at the end of May or the beginning of June.

I'll be travelling north by car with Dad and was wondering about squeezing my dive gear in, just in case there's any diving to be had. After all, there's only so much cooing over a baby that a bloke can take...

So, does anyone know if there's any good shore diving to be had around the Dundee area that would make it worthwhile to haul the gear up north with me?

It's the start of the season, so I'd be looking for a max depth of 20m, and would prefer a shore dive, although I wouldn't discount a shallow boat dive

Anyone available either during the last week in May or (most likely) the first week in June to introduce me to Scottish waters?

There's a little bit of shore diving just under the coastguard station at Fifeness / Crail, but it's not that great and can be pretty drifty when the tides running. Dundee Sub-Aqua Club might be able to offer you some advice!

Thanks to both for the replies, and I'll certainly be in touch nearer the time Gavindiver

Oh, it'll be sometime between May 31st and June 8th, but probably midweek, which kinda screws the weekend boat trip
