Saturday 17th May at Swanage (or Chesil!)?

My wife suffers from MS and has recently been suffering a relapse, which led to her falling in the kitchen last week and breaking her arm

As if she didn't have enough to put up with it's her right arm and she's right-handed, so she's finding things pretty hard to manage. Obviously, my opportunities for diving have suddenly taken a nose dive as I have to be around to look after her.

However, a friend of hers is going to take her out on Saturday 17th (to give both of us a break!), so I have an opportunity for a dive!

I haven't been in the sea this year yet and spent this weekend staring gloomily out of the window as I cooked, cleaned and ironed...

So, is anyone interested in a couple of dips at Swanage next Saturday?

It's kinda hard to call from the current forecasts, but would Chesil also be an option? If there's any easterly or northerly in the wind it's going to be more sheltered... And cuttlefish too, maybe?

Sorry I can't help as I'm out of the country but please pass on my best wishes, sympathy etc to Anne and say can she still spend money? The advent of PIN instead of signatures on credit card purchases should help and she should go and seek solace.

Give a hungry man a fish and he will eat for a day
Teach a hungry man to fish and he will buy a bad hat
Talk to a hungry man about fishing and you are a consultant.

    Safe diving
0 sea dives this year ..... so far....................................
and 0 puddle jumps I've not been busy yet.

Bah! What kind of excuse is that to get out of a dive...

I'll certainly pass on your good wishes, but I think I'll leave out the spending advice!

Dave - as my original post probably implied, then provided the conditions (waves, viz) look suitable I'm up for it - and would be great to put a name to a face or some such. I'll PM you a few more details. My own preference would be Chesil - but I've not dived either for more years than I care to admit. I just want some nice pics - blennies or cuttles would be good

Right - let's see who else is up for it.

Chesil's fine with me David. One of my favourite dive spots as it happens

Purple Vonny's photos from today have me drooling all over the keyboard in anticipation at getting back there again!
