What an amusing day! I'm actually really surprised that my first ever drysuit dive went relatively well - I had pretty low expectations of myself though haha. Can't say the same for my friend though - poor bloke was dealing with very floaty feet and a sticky inflator that was constantly filling up his BC.
God knows that this is the end of Miss Independent Sheepless when I can't put my fins ON by myself anymore (those spring straps are damn tight, and that's even with jamming my boots into the pocket as much as possible), and I can't take my fins OFF by myself because I've jammed them on so damn tight. Need to work on my buoyancy too now - apologies for anyone finning after me and my massive clouds of silt!
Ian - it was good to meet you!! Sorry we couldn't stay to chat longer. Definitely next time after a dive.
Btw, top sausage sandwiches!!! 100 points...
Oh by the way, my friend lost his brand new Otter hood near the Kombi. If anyone finds it, can you please PM me?
Thanks!!
Glad you had a great day, give the site a ring re hood and if they find it they will hold on to it for you - they are top people there. You may want to pop down on a Wed pm we have a bit of a YD meet there every week (see link below).
