Drysuit testing - Wraysbury Sat 17th

Hi guys!

My friend Lee and I will be trying our brand new Otter drysuits on Saturday morning out at Wraysbury. For both of us, it will not only be our first time diving in the UK, first time ever diving in a quarry, it will also be our first ever drysuit dives!!

We're aiming to be there around 9:30am, so please come and say hi if you spot us - I will be the midget Chinese-looking girl and Lee will be the tall handsome bloke with brown hair. We will also no doubt be laughing at ourselves being absolute gumbies.

Looking forward to meeting some YDers

Hi

I will be at Wraysbury on Saturday doing some skills training- if you want to tag along then more than welcome. Will be there from about 9am. I might even have some spare time available for weight checks and buoyancy if its your first time in open water using drysuits.

Look for a black Saab - red and black drysuit, twinset and a lot of stages

Ian

I'll be there too. Probably in the fill shed.

I tested my suot at Swanage last weekend. It definitely has a large hole in the boot so won't be diving

Awesome!

Sorry to hear about your drysuit, MJH. That sucks big time. A large hole even??

Any good pubs nearby that you can also recommend for post dive replenishment?

That should be mandatory. We had one upstairs from the shop in Lanzarote.

Won't be there Saturday but might go down Sunday, I want to have a play with nice shiny new stage.

What 'awesome' that my suit leaked

It's about an inch long slit in the boot

Sorry - my "awesome" was directed at Ian heh

And fantastic to hear that there is a bar onsite! I'll probably need it after hours of struggle with the drysuit...hahahaa
