Arrow 15-16 July in NE England/SE Scotland

A grateful government has given me the week off and I'd be up for a splash on the Thurs/Fri anywhere between Edinburgh and Whitby - any takers? Or is it to be Browns Bay again!! (For the more rad & gnarly among you I dive mere air off a 15 + pony)

What's the shore diving like at Beadnell? I'm a virgin! (i.e. is it better than Browns Bay)

Dunno, i am a virgin too!! Only dived with Billy Sheils boats up there at the Farnes. If Porg comes, we can let her lead i think she lives up that way somewhere.

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!

Cool, guys. Thanks Colin excellent site.

What I'll do is post again Sunday/Monday. We'll have a better idea of the forecast then and can think about venues.

Best,

Paul

Dossing space could be available. 2 leather sofas and one futon. Gotta put up with two cats mind. 10 mins from the local pub, 20 mins from beadnell. I have shore dived up there loads - if it is even slightly rough forget it. Once the silt is kicked up in the bays it tends to linger. We would be best to try to book onto a boat. Most will go out with a minimum of 4 people.

Well folks the weather is still looking a bit iffy, so shore diving at Beadnell looks uncool.

If there's still some interest how about a day shore diving at St Abbs (although I guess this would still have to be weather permitting)? Or Helen if you can whip up enough interest in a boat dive one evening I'll be there - otherwise what about a dose of 24 hour 'flu?

Let me know what you think,

Best,

P
