Repairers of Avon drysuits I dive with an old Avon military drysuit, which is leaking around the (possibly hamfistedly) installed suit inflator. Can I just take it to any old dive shop to get the inflator remounted/reglued or do these suits (the soft material ones) need special treatment ? Thanks for any advice Derek

Any chance of some help on this one ? I guess its time to ring around the shops

| www.divequip.co.uk or Hammond drysuits. Divequip is closer to you. Give Pete a call- he'll be able to help.

Try going to a car tyre repair facility if it is a hole a vulcanised patch will sort the problem. Avon are a tyre manufacturer and used the same material as in an innertube. Or speak to Elwyn harper at Seastyle he patched the old navy inlet and cut new holes for the valves on my Avon.

Thanks for the replies peoples, I will be ringing Divequip as a localish place when I get a chance. Scubacoach - I don't think its a hole, I think the inflator is just coming out of the suit (something nice and small then!) It just needs remounting and should then be fine.
