Question Adjusting Mares Abyss/ Axis freeflowing regs

I have a 2002 Mares Abyss (the one with the 'fan' front) reg and an Axis octopus on a Mares first stage. Both freeflow when first going into the water (about 8 degrees) but settle down thereafter and perform faultlessly. Problem was a couple of nights ago the Axis lost 40bar from my tank before settling down.

How do I adjust them to cut the freeflowing?

alex

You have to take the hose off from the 2nd stage and look inside the orrofice.
You will see either a slot for a skrew driver or an allen headed bolt.
Skrew this in about 1/8 of an inch clockwise replace hose, and turn on cyl.
If it still lets by,you could try process again,or you might consider that the first stage HP seat is letting by, in which case get your regs serviced.
