<font color='#000080'>I somehow managed to break the winder off my reel last night in a bizarre poolside incident, I’m not too bothered because I thought the round plastic handle was quite hard to grip with 5mm gloves on, I had already considered replacing it with a flat sided one, so here’s my question:

Has anybody already done such a transplant, did you replace with plastic or wood?
Does anyone have pictures of such an operation?

That’s more than one question but any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Paul

i had the same problem except mine got broken first time out ina rib and i didnteven get to use it.  I found easiest thing to do was buy another off ebay at a excellent rate. If you do find a way to repair/replace then let me know as i have all the bits still just no winder.

Steve
