Anyone on here had any problems with servicing of drysuits at the manufacturers?

I've had to send a drysuit back to the manufacturers for alterations and its been eight weeks since I sent if off. Its still not clear when it will be returned. Comment anyone. ( I'm not saying who the manufacturer is as its got my drysuit and my initial purchase cash. )

Cheers

Have you phoned them to chivvy them up a bit? I had to with a certain very well known shop whose name might be easily confused with a brothel (that a big enuff clue for ya?) Once I done the "Oi ! you !!" routine it was sorted.

Dave,

Give them a call. Many of the manufacturers are snowed under following the diveshow, however if you don't chase them up and other people keep phoning them and asking them to hurry up who do you think will get their suit first?

At the very least they should give you an approximate date to have it sorted.

Daz

I'm sure there are a few horror stories in this line.

Luckily, I've always 'been lucky'

Thumbs up Not a horror story

Had to send SWMBO's suit back to Typhoon for the neckseal to be replaced (I'm not convinced it was their fault) I phoned on the Monday, dropped it off at work the next day for collection, and it was delivered back to work on the Friday, 4 days turnaround.
Impressive.
