| Imported post They'll probably come back from apeks with a little rubber cap. DON'T use this. You can get a decent one from any LDS. PS are Apeks sending you the A clamp bits back? I held onto mine in case I end up somewhere with A clamp only tanks. I'd prefer to convert them back than use an adapter. I've not needed it yet, anyway. |

| Imported post OK this might just be me, but what's the point? soak the 2nd stage and console but the 1st stage I would just dunk or rinse and then leave it to dry. You should be able to spot any gunk building up on it and it's not like any of the moving parts inside need soaking Agree about the caps though, get a decent screw on one from a LDS. I just can't see the point in risking any water getting through a improperly fitted cap. Daz

| Imported post <font color='#000080'>I just screw on my A-clamp adaptor. Its got that rubber ball in. I bought the adaptor when I bought my regs. Incidentally I just hang my regs up in the shower and hose them down with hot water. Never had a problem yet. Is this milton thing overkill? Dave C

| Imported post <font color='#000080'>I (when my regs ever get cleaned) just stick my thumb over the end of the DIN fitting, protecting where water could get in, and dunk them/hose them off. Soaking them for hours is overkill, IMO. My regs get washed only really when there's enough dirt to be a problem. |

| Imported post <font color='#0000FF'>Apeks sent me the a-clamp back - mind you I did request this in the covering letter sent with the regs

| Imported post <font color='#810541'>I spoke to the lady at Apeks a couple of minutes ago, they are sending me the a-clamp back. I doubt I'll even re-fit it back in the first stage but I'll keep it in the ever-growing box of "bits of diving equipment that I don't know what to do with but don't want to throw out".
