Try Ian at Protec in the Wirral.

He's not too far away and, as a full-time drysuit manufacturer, should be pretty good at fitting zips by now.

Fiona,

might not be quite what you're after but I noticed the other day at Ocean View in Selsey have some kevlar knee-pad type things, the sort you glue on. Might be worth a look if you don't get any better ideas

If you're putting panels on you can just glue them. If you use 2-part glue and then panels you won't go far wrong. When the edge starts to go (usually after about a season or so, but I've had knee pads stay on for 2-3 years often) just glue it back down.

Might be easier than stitching neoprene. Only place I know that does that sort of repair is Barracuda in Nottingham. You'll have to look them up, as I just go to the shop when I need something.

Smile Long changed??

Get this!

My Typhoon Neo suit sprung a leak. So I do the "Standing in the shower with suit on and pumped up. Josie is Soaping me up... (Dave enough of the fettish stuff..) anyway, satisfied its duff with at least two leaks found, I sent it to Typhoon, with instructions to Fix X number of leaks in back of suit, and 'oh would you look at the sewn in Braises as they're hanging on by a thread'. No problem says Bill.

So today the suit arrived back (in time for St. Abbs as they'd promised ) with a huge patch on the inside over the leaky holes . On closer inspection I see the Braises have not been fixed, even though on the invoice it says in Brackets 'check braises', under customer requirements. So Now I'm about to get in a slight hump as I paid 70 quid all in for packaging, collection & Delivery, testing both before and afterwards, and three holes plugged when, to my surprise, I see a Brand New Rear Zip!! I didn't ask for this and to top this off the invoice shows no zip replaced, which should have cost £72.

So Quite chuffed at new zip which kind of makes up for the Braises thing.

Weird

isn't it nice when incompetence works out in the client's favour. I kept an order from GoDive for the very same reason.

looks like you won a watch, or should that be a zip?

Try glue on your braces, it workes on mine, just dont pull it on with the braces.

These people are in Stalybridge: http://www.gybe.co.uk/

That's possibly not ideal but it's the closest I know of
