| Zips work by compression. Store them permanently compressed and they will lose their compressability over time. So for me it is always 'zip open' Cheers Dave Cooper |

| i hang mine by the boots upside down in the closet under the stairs with the zip open to let it air any moisture inside

| hung up by feet in loft, zip open. avoids the 'minging interior' syndrome. BTW it's a ND cortex. |

| i never asked polar bears when i got mine...doesnt stay stored for long anyway...but even when it is, it's normally layed on top of other diving things in the cupboard under the stairs... it's a diagonal zip across the front so even if hung open, there's not a lot of stress of the ends of the zip. it sits better on the hanger if closed tho. IMHO if i was to put it in its bag i would have it closed as it gives it more strength, less likelihood of it getting bent (no pun intended i may very well be wrong tho...

| I made hangers for our suits from PVC waste pipe. They come in three bits - two straight bits of pipe and a connector. They are short enough when dismantled to fit inside our ND wheeled dive bags but reach almost to the wrist seals when assembled. This spreads the load all along the arms and reduces the strain on the zips. |
