Non-clean regs are okay for up to 40%, so go right ahead.

Technically, non-clean regs should be re-cleaned for anything over 40%. I personally wouldn't bother, because even tho my regs have technically had non-clean air put through them in the past, I know that our club compressor's non-clean air actually is within clean limits. So whilst it wasn't clean in name, it was clean in reality.

I pretty much agree with what's being said, but would add a couple of points to keep things simple.

"Clean" air is often refered to as "double" filtered rather than "single", unclean air.

Up to 40% problems are realisticaly neglegable, at higher O2 levels I would follow the guides.

Virtualy all regs are OK to 40% out the box, O2 cleaning is required beyond that.

Basicaly, don't worry about the small print unless you are going above 40% and then stick to the rules.
