| Imported post <font color='#000080'>Dear all, Hope you can help with a couple of problems I have. If the questions are stupid I apologise beforehand! First up is this. On the photo below, the tank handle only has one screw to fix it together. I've unscrewed it but can't get the handle off! Do I need a special tool? Any ideas? ![]() I would like to take it off as when the wing is sitting on the cylinder the wing sits quite high. When I put the first stage on the cylinder the hoses sit across the top of the wing, when the wing gets inflated it puts pressure on the hoses and tries to inflate around them. I'm hoping that by removing the handle, (as the looped strap won't fit over the handle) the wing will sit lower on the cylinder (about 1.5 inches) and alleviate any undue pressure on the hoses and making a clear path for them. Hope you can understand that. Thanks in advance, Ian

| Imported post <font color='#F52887'>on these handles with one screw you need to remove the pillar valve to remove the handle. the ones with 2 screws remove completely without having to remove the pillar. I dont quite know what you are talking about when you mention "the looped strap"?

| Imported post I bought a 7l stage cylinder at LIDS and it was fitted with one. I didn't bother taking the valve off but used a tommy bar to pry the two sides of the compression joint appart. A bit of brute force and ignorrance and it pinged off. Easy The trick is to get the two side of the compression joint (slit) either side of the valve body then the handle will pull off.
