leak on swivel against Uwatec pressure gauge

While diving on Sunday I noticed the high pressure hose to my pressure gauge was leaking. It is coming from the swivel against the gauge.

I assume there must be an O ring in there but is it something that I'm likely to be able to do - is it a standard size or what???

    any help would be appreciated.

    thanks in advance

    Steven

Bog standard. You should be able to pick up a new insert with o-rrings fitted for 50p ish. just pop it in and refit the gauge

Didn't leak enough to stop you clocking up 11 mins deco did it ??

When mine failed Steve it was the actual swivel crimp that had failed under the rubber boot,
to be fair ,it had never seen the light of day since new and the salt water had taken its toll
bought a longer ,new one for £20 pleased that it only leaked and didn't blow

To summarize,,sounds like we both had a leaky weekend

Remove rubber boot from gauge which exposes two nuts on 5/8th the other 9/16th undo and you should find a metal swivel pin with 2 o-rings either end.
Clean pin and gauge end and hose end carefully replace o-rings with 2 the can be bought from any dealer as a standard size for all gauges. bit of silicone grease for non nitrox bits and reconnect and nip up. refit gauge boot.

no I've managed to take the rubber boot off and the other 2 thingies out without breaking them (amazing) and its definitely the swivelly bit!!!

believe it or not it should have been part of what was serviced about a year ago!!!! so has seen the light of day - whether they did it or not who knows!!

Can't imagine the swivel crimp can be serviced,,only the flow restrictor (the bit with the 2 o-rings)
Sounds like a new hose buddy.!!
