    mde manifold dismantling help

I have obtained a 300 bar mde manifold with an unknown slob knob. It's pretty covered in crud and i'm dismantling it to give it a good clean. I've removed the slob knob but have come across what look like 2 small black plastic semicircles around the spindle. Anyone know how these come out / get refitted. Any ideas on the manifold or slob knob models? Thanks in advance.

This is the old fine thread version. The slob knob top will just come off once you've removed that screw... its just like taking off a standard cylinder knob. You've got the remote lead out, thats the hard bit. Give it a good siak in hot water and vinegar.... that will get the crud off.

Thanks, there was so much crud in the barrel the screw looked like a couple of plastic half moons! All apart now and soaking in some white vinegar. Can you still get spares/o-rings for these?

Its definatly just a standards slotted plastic screw top... yes you should be able to get service kits for these, but you will have to go through yur LDS ....as MDE have gone all HSE and won;t supply you direct.....

Do you have the right fine thread left and right valves to go with it..?
