    citric acid for cleaning

    Hi All,

can anyone tell me what strength of citric acid they have used for cleaning regs?

In the past I have always used white vinegar but I now have a free supply of CA powder so may as well make use of it.

    Cheers, John

A teaspoon or two per litre should be about right.

Enough so that when you dip your finger in it and lick it, you go "eeeeeeew".

And eeeekkk for me = 1 or 2 table spoons in a mug's worth of hot water.

If you want to be more precise 10mg in 100ml.

We won't ask how one acquired 15kg of the stuff - but make sure it stays very dry or you and going to need an ice pick to hack of chunks (1 chunk / pint)
