    Low profile valve

    i started getting wet on left elbow. having inflated the suit and covering the left shoulder/arm with soapy water i noticed that the only place releasing the bubbles is under the shoulder valve. I took it apart cleaned and about to glue it back. Got myself a tub of aquasure...But have you got any tricks/suggestions how to do the best job ie no more leaks...

    Shouldn't need to use glue but if you absolutely have to use clear bathroom silicone its a little more forgiving than aquasure!

    what? really????? could it have been leaking beacuse it was not tightened properly?

    Possibly, the low profile ones are a bit crappy compared to other offerings, such as si-tech or the high profile apeks one.

    Well my high-profile one leaked because it came undone a little bit. Nipped it up and it's fine.

    If you have a leak from the valve itself, then try flushing it through under the tap.

    They all fit the same hole! Apeks high profile are the best! Don't bother with glue just bastard tight with your hands!

    If you guys don't mind can I ask why the high profile ones are better?

    I have a high profile and was thinkin of changin to a low, as they're newer design, but a mate of mine also says high profile is best.
