Except the operator will probably tell you to go and dial 118-RIP-OFF or some such number.

There's no harm in a list as has been compiled - with the caveat that is already on it, namely in an emergency, dial 999 or use VHF ch16.

Dom

I'll add the new numbers to the list, the map update might take a little longer.

I only know cos i had to drive down to poole ( 3 hours) yesterday to spend 6 hours sitting in their chamber.. not the one in Cardiff 15mins from my house. will get round to writing something about the dive and the fact it took me 4 days to get to the conclusion it might be DCI.

Royal Navy Doctor

As listed by the British Hyperbaric Association the Royal Navy Doctor (24hr) number for contact is: 07831 151523

This number is always manned and should you need assistance with regard which chamber and treatment gives great assistance (I've used it in the treatment of someone).

Hope that helps

If in doubt, whether at the coast or inland, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard. We can put you in touch with the Institute of Naval Medicine or Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for Scottish diving. These institutions will give sound diving medical advice and they keep a record of the chambers which are available.

There is no need for divers to keep a list of recompression chamber locations and phone numbers. Use the experts that's why they are there.
