Portland Coastguard Airlift Female Diver Suffering From The Bends

At 1404 today Coastguard Helicopter WB airlifted a female diver who was displaying symptoms of decompression sickness, her buddy and her partner from a vessel in Lyme Bay south of Golden Cap to the chamber at Poole. At Poole they were met by Poole Coastguards, Dorset ambulance and a specialist dive doctor.

Humber Coastguard Airlift Diver to Hull Hyperbaric Unit

1800 today. Humber Coastguard are currently airlifting a male diver with symptoms of decompression sickness from the Farne Islands to the Hull Hyperbaric Unit. The casualty is being transported by RESCUE 131 from RAF Boulmer.

She would have to be transported by them - the air ambulance is no longer operating in the area.
