Oh well! I'll check with the firms lawyers in the morning.

Funny really as the patients were quite happy for me to do a report on "Lessons Learned" for others to benefit.

The treatment table is publicly available on the internet for all to see. For those with an interest they can look up a Comex treatment and see what they are in for if they f##k up during a dive.

I won't bother replying to any other stuff in case i break some other confidentiality law.

That was my understanding but I'm not a fancy lawyer. Just the tea boy.

I can report confidentially that I had a Chinese meal @12mts and it was good.

Used to do a 12inch hot and spicy Pizza@ 12mts but it messes up the deco .

I suppose the problems start when people who know who they are, but not the treatment, put 2 + 2 together.

Difficult to know what is a breach when by the time we were treating
the local radio stations knew all about it, the local tv wanted updates on the condition.
Half of Dorset was aware of the incident before the chopper landed.

The boats VHF radio broadcast the whole incident which is monitored by hungry press.( Tha'ts how they get the info so quickly)

The MCA,HSE,PADI,BSAC and any other interested parties will all be informed of the full details of the incident.

Anyway I'll just slide away to my bed now and hope this all goes away by the morning.

Sadly I know all too well how the word gets around Steve. When we had an incident on a dive I ran, I made damn sure the rest of the branch knew what had happened rather than rely on gossip etc. to screw it up.

Depending on the nature of the interested parties, dissemination of certain info may be appropriate. It is stripped of identification when published in the BSAC report.
