Getting home from the pot??

This came up in a discussion as 4 divers were taken from Pembroke to plymouth/portsmouth.

If you are unfortunate/fortunate to get airlifted to a recompression chamber for assessment and treatment.

How do you get home??

With drysuit and full kit, in your undersuit (could be worse for those using wet suits).

Does everyone carry a large wad of money??

Credit cards??

£ 200 in £ 20's wrapped round a credit card.
Puzzle book.
Address book with contact numbers.

Andy, hate to be a killjoy, but how about removing your post.
Do you really want all and sundry to know the contents of your bag?

No Terry.....

I have never had any problem with the circle of divers i dive with , they know whats in my bag and i know whats in theres ( Some carry DUREX's , in case of a extra night or R & R in Pompey ).

My bag is kept an eye on , and plus it's there for the use of others if need be minus the passport and credit card .....

Hopefully someone will come and pick you up, if you aren't that lucky then I am afraid you are on your own. I would say it was unlikey you will be in full kit. Don't worry about not having any change of clothes I am sure they will find you a nice set of theatre scrubs.

As for Andy knowing what's contained in my bag, I don't think so

I also carry two tangerines, excellent advice. I include a pot of horny goat weed as well because DCI can have some unfortunate effects.

When I got bent at Dorothea, tight Scot that I am, I drove home first, dumped my kit, had a quick pint and drove myself to the pot. I'm told this isn't recommended procedures
