Any news on: incident saturday 17th am out of portland?

Just as we were getting onto Goose out of Breakwater, Portland - the Sea King went up. The skipper had said he had been monitoring channel 16 and heard that a diver had got into trouble after a long dive in the 25-30 metre range and had made a rapid ascent.

Just wondered if anyone had heard any news of how this diver is doing. Cant find any details..

Hope all is well him/her.

Dive safe.

Don't know how they are doing but it was on a dive on the Elena R. We were at the same site on Protector and the casualty was airlifted from Tango. Uncontrolled ascent from 20m is what I heard.

Best wishes to the diver involved.

I was on Protector with Ant. Can only add that the diver was on 02 and conscious when he was choppered off Tango.

Hope it all turned out well.

Dave.
