Forth Coastguard - North Berwick
A dive boat called Forth Coastguard on VHF Ch16 to report that two of their divers had made a rapid ascent. The divers, aged 49 and 50, were asymptomatic following the 40m dive but were breathing oxygen as a precaution. Following medical advice the North Berwick Inshore Lifeboat was launched to transfer the divers to a waiting ambulance but due to adverse weather conditions the divers were put ashore at Dunbar. The dive boat was escorted into Dunbar by the North Berwick ILB and the Dunbar All Weather Lifeboat. They were then taken by ambulance to hospital for assessment.

Oban Inshore Lifeboat was tasked to assist a broken down RIB. As the dive boat had a diver down on a drift dive a broadcast was made requesting assistance from any vessels in the area. The diver surfaced shortly after and was able to swim back to the boat. The dive boat succeeded in starting its engine and was escorted back to shore by one of the two vessels that responded to the broadcast.
