Red face The Deed is Done !!!!!
Well as it says the deed is done today i brought a Meg from Richard and signed on for a MOD 1 course, Am i worried Yes!

A lot of cash and going back to basics again however i dont have to pay until after the course later on this year

A new style of diving with a new piece of equipment, my reasons for the Meg were as follows

Build quality
I keep the VR3's which to me are the best piece of kit money can buy
Tried and liked it better than the vision
simple to clean and sort out with good electronic redundancy

so now I'll get all the you dont need a meg this and that is allot better etc etc but for the diving i am wanting to do and move into it has to be the way forward

Graham, when you're qualified and want to get some shallow stuff done over the winter give me a shout. We're always going out, I managed over 60 hours over the winter.

Sounds like a good choice for the sort of diving you're doing mate. Your gas bill must be about £6000 a year FFS! Keep us posted how you get on

Don't worry what other people say, they tend to defend their own units.

I love my Inspo, but I know and have dived with people on many other units, we all came back! You'll learn on the Meg and you'll probably end up loving it.

Here is an overview of the course tho:
Day 1 - I fucking hate this, what am I doing, Oh my God I've wasted my money
Day 2 - It's not as bad as I thought, but I still think I should have stayed OC
Day 3 - Actually it's OK this CCR lark
Day 4 - Hey! this is cool, I like it!

My Gas bill is over 2k this year and i brought 6 j's to fill from so yep i think i'll enjoy the unit and the dives
