| I looked at both methods and came close to flying out and collecting it in person from the factory. That way you could potentially do a quick course out there and bring it back as if you'd flown out with it. Only thing that stopped me was a diary full of commitments meant I didn't have the time available. Megs hold their value well and the price second hand isn't far off the new price.

| Backplate? Spares kit, Calibration kit.. It all adds up! Have you tried Deep Blue Tech diving? He probably has some in stock. I brought mine 2nd hand from the US, had hardly been used..Cost me alot less than £6000!! |

| hiya, dunno if it helps, but i used to order skydiving rigs direct from the factory in the us, then fly in and 'test-jump' them. this made them effectivly second hand demo kit by the time i bought it and therefore not subject to sales tax.... was a known loop-hole, might have been closed by now. |

| Rob Thats a big spend but looks like a great set up. Do you know Scribley? She dives a very similar Meg but with a shearwater HUD.I've decided on an Apex meg (second hand or new not sure yet), X1, cal kit, spares ect. Who are you training with? Ricky |
