The P6SS complete

Right. I am going to work out how to take photos. I'm bloody impressed with myself now. Like properly.

Out with the ABLJ design, and in with the IST Saturn design. Yay!

So, I now have a BCD with a set of twin 6s on it. How exactly the twins are attatched I'm not sure of, but I have a few ideas. For a start there's a set of buddy bands which will do nicely to keep them attatched to me, and then maybe some SS bands to hold them to each other.

The scrubber, now with its fancy SS plates courtesy of Mr Woz, is sidemounted, with a lovely red neoprene jacket to keep it warm this winter. It's cold, and I fear the scrubber may try to kill me at some stage, so I want to keep it loving me as much as possible.

There are some minor adjustments to be made to the hoses but nothing spectacular, just a few inches here, few inches there.

I ama bit worried about the WOB on the exhale. It seems that the rather small space in the top of a BCD isn't the best for getting gas from one side to the other. Was thinking about putting in a rigid 22mm tube in there to keep it open and gas flowing, but not sure yet on whether that's actually a good idea. Might give it a try in the water, it's fine with a decent lung volume, but running it minimum can get a bit interesting as the lung collapses. Hmm...

Anyway, I'll bring it along Sunday for you lot to poke and laugh at, but it's rapidly turning into a respectable breather! It looks less like it's going to kill me every day, but it does still have bog parts either side of the mouthpiece for comedy effect.

Digs.

I think it will be after the weekend. I'll have it at Stoney, where no doubt someone will either get a shot of me or I can employ Jen as my official photographer/safety diver/bird* to sort out photos/a rescue/the dishes* and possibly some of the thousands of other YDers who are going to be there!!!

After a few dives, I reckon there will be quite a lot of spare parts available

Digger,

There's an East German RB on ebay you might want to take a look at?

That's not nice!
and anyway I want it for my own RB project. Why would I use a bit that had already been proven to not work?
