    Dive Rite Stole My Breather

Right, you lot have seen the way the P1SS has developed into a way of life now, and has progressed from early attempts to stay alive into now decidng to go all the way and build a fully functional KISSpiration.

Then, after explaining to John (narkedat90) what I had planned, he says oh, you mean something like this: http://www.therebreathersite.nl/diverite_ccr.htm

And the answer is basically yes. They stole my idea before I came up with it!

Any views on likely problems doing something similar? The electronic and monitoring side of it will be different, but the scrubber up top and front mounted lungs are pretty much the same. I feel cheated. Again.

    Digs.

Got your message, was just about to call.

Might have a swatch at a few inspirations tomorrow and draw a little picture - plus was thinking if we use insp fittings we can use delrin to make it - save a few quid? SS prices are getting silly, and it would have to be machined out of a big block of the stuff.

Might have another part that needs doing, either side of the mouthpiece I'm going to need something to replace the deight of Focus bog parts,a nd one side slightly longer to let those one way valves work properly. The existing is ok but needs more room to flap open properly.

Don't worry, I can do a better job than diverite. Won't be using poxy extendair cartridges for this puppy!

Mine will be lower profile too, the scrubber shape is perfect for what we're doing.

    Digs.

Yes I can just see the court case now.

Quentin De-La-NoBubbles QC for the defence:

Q: Is it right Mr Digger that my client Mr Rite, stole this idea from you before it had even entered your head?

Having said that you'd probably win given the sorry state of our judicial system and the doofuses that work for the CPS (Criminal Preservation Society).

    Cheers

you feel cheated. Back in the distant past not long after the war (dont mention the war), we were all pretty poor, apart from one of my mates who's parents had some money, any way he had 2 skates and I had one odd one which I fished out of the beck, and made it work, me the best one foot skater I was world famous round here, any way there were 3 of us with 6 legs and 3 skates so we invented a game called skate and board, which all 3 could play, this involved putting a Beano or Dandy annual on the skate sitting on it and flying down the steep hill as fast as we could go, so I invented the skate board, can I have some money now please!.
