Unhappy Lost Cat

Im sat here in tears because we have lost our small cat, scuba. She was last seen this morning by my other half fast asleep, but hasnt been seen since. I have been out and looked for her everywhere i know she goes, plus the neighbours have checked their sheds and garages. Now I have to sit and take the advice i used to tell people all the time when i worked at the vets - just wait, dont panic for a day or two. But the horrible feeling that she is squashed, or shut in somewhere or catnapped. I have phoned the vets and she isnt there, plus she is microchipped.

Now i know that none of you live near enough to help in any way, so dont flame me for that.

If all the people on YD think it really hard, please let her turn up. Maybe she will.

So sorry to hear about your cat, but please don't lose hope. My cat disappeared for 3 days when she was just over a yr old, she turned up hungry and a bit scrawny looking but none the worse for wear.

Has she been neutered, cos if she hasn't it could be that she has gone looking for a mate.

Please let us know of any news.

Corinne

I'll put money on you posting tomorrow about Scuba coming back home with some strange sticky stuff matted in its fur (that how my cat always came home after an extended wander).

I would recomend re reading the how to wash a cat post in the non diving section, and find some nice thick gardning gloves!

Hope your cat turns up safe and sound, ours used to vanish for days, but always turned up in the end.

Hey Porg! our cat has gone missing twice! on both occasions for four days! came back safe and sound (and looking incredibly smug!) So don't let scuba make you go off the deep end just yet!

Anyone who does, you let me know Seriously though, you keep your chin up. Scuba will come home to you, and expect full normal service to resume.

Thinking of you.

i'll add my encouraging story - we had a cat that disappeared for weeks and weeks, but turned up safe and sound (if a little thin). so don't lose hope

Cat found - she had crossed the East Coast Mainline (not too far from the house - about 800 yards) plus a budy road to get stuck behind a 6 foot high fence. The other half went down there to see if she had been squashed by a train and heard MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwww wwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowww wwwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwW WWWWWWWWWWWWW

He phoned me and i ran down there to help get her over the fence and carried her back.

Thanks for all the words guys XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

How many lives has she lost today?
