Angry Boddingtons are dead, long live Boddingtons

So Boddingtons have eventually seen sense and given up making the tasteless, over foamed, overrated pig swill they have the nerve to call `beer`.

Regretably, only their Manchester operation has closed down, forcing innocent brewery workers from other parts of the country to manufacter the worst the brewing industry could offer.

Talking of the retro culture, `Boddys` ranks among the likes of Watneys Red Barrel and Double Diamond one of the most artifical, ill mixed concoctions that ever came out of an aluminium keg.

Boddingtons is dying. Long live the likes of Newcastle Brown (looking for some support here Porg), Wadworths 6X (a real beer), Tetleys (Only if served in Yorkshire - it dos`nt travel south well) and that all time great Guinness (Draught Extra Cold)

Come on Tierney and the Manchester Mafia, bring it on.................

    Love & Kisses

    Steve

I've seen Tetley's draught in Singapore! Not that I'd drink it myself you understand, I'm not that old and never will be!

Ahh, brings back memories of going to Constable Harris' local - Greengrass Ale, Spitfire et al - and more choice of "proper" beers than 60/40 fizzy pish.

Dammit! Thirsty now and I've got 9.5 hours of work still to go!

    Boddingtons

They Didn't call it the Strangeways brewery for nothing you know. As for Tetleys well it's a bit hit and miss depends on if your in Leeds and surrounding area or a bit closer to going over tother side o ill and you get it from Warrington. Still on its day Boddingtons was alot better than that Davenports Cr*p form below the Doncaster border tasted like a boiled wine gum.

Boddy's has been my saviour!! Turned me from a soft southern shandy drinker to a pretend norvern munkey! I love it.

Off to Tesco's to stock up before the country runs dry!
