never ending friday

Does anyone else feel this friday is going to go on forever.

I mean all I did was have a few beers last night and the punishment I get is a friday that won't end.

been at work for an hour now and feels like a year. Well beter get on with work (well surfing the internet)

Sorry mate, but my Friday is ending at 4pm come hell or high water, cos then I'm leaping in me bat mobile and roaring off to Portland for a weekend's diving.

And non of this toy boat blow up rib in the harbour nonsense, a proper boat, with a lift and a head, and wrecks offshore

I'm excited like a kid before Christmas - sad isn't it? One day I'm going to have to grow up a bit. But it can wait til after the weekend. Did I mention I'm off diving at 4....

sounds like fun dave (but watch out for those big boats you know the problems they can cause)

I don't even have the JOY! of going to stoney this weekend. I am close to thinking that going there for a pootle would be fun but then i wake up from dosing at my computer screen.

Hmm. Woke at 3am (damn jetlag), rolled into work around 6:50. Yes, today has already gone on too long. Not expecing to leave before 7 tonight either. Bah.

Still, might make it to Stoney to finish my combined nitrox course this weekend

But hey I get to go home (a drive which takes anything from 7 hours to 14 .....excluding stops)

No diving this weekend cos we're going to a wedding, won't that be fun.

it's 10:27,
i've done very little,
the weather is absolute shite,
i'm very tired - have been all week,
my lenses are making my eyesight blurry,
i need to do loads of work before close of day,
my friends are going out tonight but i promised i would go to octopush practice between 8-10 (!!! how unsociable is that!),
tomorrow's diving will probably be utter B***X,

but still it could be worse...it could be MONDAY!

Although I'd like to think my Friday ends when I leave work - which today will hopefully be lunchtime - I have the arduous task of fighting all the weekend traffic back down south from Manchester to Kent - last week when I did this they's closed the M25 AND the Blackwall Tunnel, so it tooke me 8 hours!!

That sounds to be a good run for a friday! I pity the people who are travelling south of Birmingham, as it appears to be one long queue.

I travel from bridgwater, Somerset, to Leeds. M5, M42, A42, M1, M62, so I recon we should cross paths about halfway!
Been doing this commute for 19 months now, tried other routes but they all appear sh*te.

For me this week as if it never came by, I was all week sick leave from work with a bad flu and does not seem to be better this weekend, and considering that I have a running nose, diving is out
