l've gotta move out of here

Well, what a shi*y day.

Woke up this morning, came downsatairs to find all the cupboard doors in my kitchen and front room open, l thought my son , being the last to bed, had left it a bit untidy.

Then l noticed that "da bitches" new laptop was not on the dining room table or her new digi camera. It takes a while, l'm still half asleep, something's not right, l check the doors and windows then go to my garage and s**t, we been burgled again.

Whilst five of us are asleep upstairs someones broken my garage door lock and entered the house.

My wife has a stupid little shite of a dog, a chitzoo(sp) pisses and sh*ts all over the place, but l thought at least he'll bark if we get intruders, did he f**k.

l decided l had to go to work otherwise the dog would have died, whilst at work my son-in-law (a South African) said "look on the bright side, you're all ok, if it had happened at back home you would all be dead".

Made me think...... well only material stuff got nicked, thats all covered by insurance so l'm now chilling with a few scotches, still hate the feckin useless dog.

l tried to find a recent thread about law and order, in which l posted about about theives getting very light sentances and that they should get much harsher sentances, but l couldn't, the reason being that some tosser gave me a red blob for my comment and l want him to read this.

l've lived in this house for fifteen years and have suffered the following:

House broken into - two times
House attempted break in - two times
Transit panel van broken into - Five times
Transit panel van stolen - once
Pickup van - stolen
Holiday mobile home broken into - four times
Sons car broken into- two times
And my seventeen yr old daughter's car which she's just bought and is learning to drive in, broken into once

Oh the joys of living in a town.

Shit, sorry to hear it Howard. We were burgled about 3 years back (the second time for me) while we were asleep in the next room - horrible experience. We now have multiple alarms etc.

Sorry to hear your having a spot of bad luck there Howard.

Personally last time I found myself in a similar position, (not my house but a mates bike) the judicious use of a baseball bat worked wonders.

Dude,

Genuinely sorry to hear this news!

You're right though - you'd love to get your hands on the little bleeders: not necessarily for the actual break-in; but the for sheer noz-factor of all the fuckin paperwork (insurance) you now face and the inconvenience of having to replace the stuff tanned and making good any repairs to the house.

Twats.

I know it'll go nowhere near making you feel better, but have some green anyway.

Sorry to hear your news. A few strokes of the birch and a couple of licks from the cat is what's need for pricks like that.

Dave.

howard,
the bastards make my blood boil and the courts should get there act together and give the police some motivation for spending time/effort catching them instead of a slap on the wrist and a naughty, naughty lecture!!!

Really sorry to hear that, your son in law has a fair point, just make sure you put that bottle of scotch on the list of things that got stolen!
Maybe you should move, I can't believe how many times you've been broken into in one form or another ..... where did you say you were again ? Beirut?

I agree

Totaly agree with comment from bang-on i am a serving police officer and its right we do find it hard to get motivated and spend hrs doing files etc to get them to court, just for them to be released with a slapped arse. i know what they do need, but now that would not be right for me to say Ha ha

Well, look on the bright side. At least you don't live in Birmingham!

I can't stand to see my YD dad all pissed off. Tell you what. I'll cheer you up next gig, might even buy you a drink.

I'd better go and lock the car...

Howard mate, i can lend you a steam powered laptop if your mrs is desperate for one. I mean, its so old its unreal, but portable.

I have never been broken into - next door have a rather vocal dog, plus the people either side are retired and tend to be in most of the time. There isnt really an easy way into the house - no convenient windows or anything, so i think we are pretty lucky.

Mate, if they ever catch the little c*nts, i will join in the queue to kick seven kinds of crap out of them.
