| Well here we go again, nearly a dozen celebritys, some we hav`nt heard of for 10 years, and others who are `C` list celebs looking to revive flagging careers. What bloody heros they all are though. Mollycoddled in their jungle home, having to put up with the odd highly non-lethal threat. Their lives are hardly at risk. And getting a hansome wage for it I`ll bet. I seem to remember we sent thousands of our troops over to another jungle 60 odd years ago. They did`nt get paid as much, were in the prime of life and also a great deal of danger. They did`nt moan and bitch and were real hero`s There are a hundreds of people who go out every night, in this country and put their lives genuinely at risk. I`m talking of firefighters, coppers, paramedic etc. The whole show is hosted by a couple of clean shaven, updated Noel Edmunds clones. No doubt they are smug in the knowledge that they can return to their air conditioned hotel every night and still earn as much as the pricks in the jungle. The whole thing is another one of these showbiz generated, self indulgant tosspot fiestas, designed to show us mortals how important they, the celebrity cult, are to our general well being. But thats entertainment (None of this applies to Sheila Ferguson `cause she`s gorgeous) Last edited by Steve L. : 23-11-04 at 09:09 AM. Reason: Bren/Jay can you put this on the non diving forum |

| Couldn't agree more but with 19 million people watching the final episode of the last series.... who can blame the TV company for milking this cash cow for all it's worth? It's a depressing statement on the state of the country when 1 in 3 people in the country will watch this assinine vapid drivel. |
