| Nope, Cadbury is from Birmingham - had a big factory in the Bournville area and even built model communities for his workers... http://www.cadbury.co.uk/EN/CTB2003/...story_cadbury/ Anyhow, forget all that dunking wispas and stuff - the top trick is to get a Twix, bite each end off one finger, insert one end into (not too hot) drink and then use as a straw.... it really does work! |

HAD?? My dear boy, they still have a huge factory in Bournville, and own most of the land there. The houses are administered through the Bournville Village Trust (the edge of which is less than 1/2 mile from my front door) You can visit the factory via the "Cadbury World" attraction, although it is not the best value for money, but it is worth doing once just to say you've been in a chocolate factory - but they wouldn't give me a refund, even though I stated from the beginning I was only going to get myself an Oompa Loompa and I couldn't find any Dom

There are no pubs in Bournville, due to the reason that it was a Quaker family that started Cadburys. (And as far as I know there still isn't)

| When i used to work for Alnwick Gardens i used to be in the Kitchens. We had proper hot chocolate. You made up a paste from powder (which smelled divine) and put it into the machine which then blasted hot milk in with the paste.

The Country Girl in Bournbrook (next to the back gates of the hospital) is OK for a chain pub (Ember Inns) and is the only pub within staggering range that is Good Beer Guide listed. Dom
