Unhappy Is Christmas the best time of year to be sick?
Well I'm on day two of confinement. Sat with my head over a steaming bowl of water with albos oil in it!!! I have developed an addiction to home and away.

But I was thinking, I am off work an there are some great films on TV. Watched Muppets at Christmas film yesterday. Last Starfighter is on today. Would it be quite as much fun if I was sick at any OTHER time of year??

I'm not so sick I won't enjoy christmas, I just can't breathe!!!

Cabin Fever, Cabin Fever. Must walk dog to bottom of street before I go mad!!!!!!!

Sympathy
I have my leg laid up at the moment but in work unless the leg actually falls off.

So I have lots of sympathy for you. I amforced to wear trainers-looks odd with a suit, no serious exercise, pressure bandage on leg and foot. Can't go for long walk on christmas day.

Hope you feel better soon

Christmas is definitely the best time to be ill with regards to TV entertainment.

If you have Sky/Disney, The Fox and the Hound is on this afternoon.

I was Pat & Mick last year in the run up to Christmas. I have special memories of Anastacia with Yul Brynner on BBC2 one morning, a wooly blanket, a sofa and half a bottle of brandy and some hot chocolate.

I'd say this is definately the best time to be off! I'm sick myself at the moment, TV is better than average, I can get all my Christmas shopping done in (relative) peace and I get to sit and snuggle in my duvet, what could be better?
