new pet

hi there all
don t worry its not the case of a pet that has been bought for christmas. my dog was run over and killed at the beginning of december. as any animal lover knows this was horrible as it was like losing one of the family. coming home seemed really strange when max...my dog wasn t there to greet me...sounds strange probably. but it was one of those things that you just got used to. so i asked my mum if we could get another dog.....and i can t believe my luck i am completely over the moon we have a rescue puppy of 5months coming today, its a boy boarder collie. we have a cat also so tahts the big thing on how it will get on with her, as if it doesn t mum says it ll be no good so it ll be a trial....fingers crossed though. i can t believe my luck i m so chuffed to bits. and theres no worry it isn t just for christmas its for life. any other animal lovers out there?

Yes DDJ. e have two rescued dogs, one was a badly treated and then abandoned German Shepherd and the other a cross collie/lurcher. Both part of the family. Can't imagine life without them now.

Collies are v. bright. I'm sure he'll soon be running the house, which is normal!
