| cab would cost you upwards of £40 I guess. I think there is a bus service that runs between the two. Alternatively there is an hourly bus to cambridge from either airport. have a look at www.nationalexpress.com

| Bit roundabout, but you could take the train into London then back out to Luton. Alternatively, direct bus transfers here: http://www.stansted-hotels-toolkit.c...sted_luton.htm

| Or fly in and out of Manchester. Jet2 do a service to Budapest from Manchester. Shouldn't be that much more expensive and less hassle, most of the cheapo airlines use the same terminal. Or Air Berlin do Lisbon (or Oporto) > Berlin > Budapest

Going to look at the bus, £50 for cab is a touch high. Still with all of this it's still cheaper than flying on a regular airline from Porto-Budapest. (€900 versus €420 per person) It's a weird world!

| Flights are mental, the weekend before Christmas I flew to Budapest from Manchester and back for less than what I'd pay for car parking in the city centre.

| There are no private cabs at Luton AFAIK so if you're coming back the same route and do end up going for a cab make sure you pre-book. Otherwise your only option from Luton back to Stanstead may be a London Black Cab and they really are ridiculously expensive for that trip. |
