Question Stiff penknife
My trusty swiss army champion penknife has become rather stiff to open up. (and my nails are a right mess afterwards!)

What is best to lubricate?
Silicone
wd40
3in1 oil
heavy duty grease

or some other technique

WD40 works for me.

Then clean the corkscrew bit by plunging into the cork of a wine bottle.
Repeat as necessary.

This is a tricky maneuver, and may require significant repetition to ensure total cleaning.......

Because the spring on it is worn out me thinks. Leave it in a glass of coka cola over night rinse it and the spray it with WD40. No this is not a joke.
