Question visa for cairo?

help wanted.....would be very grateful

i'm going to Egypt again in October with a group of divers, but so is my older sister with her boyfriend. It was just booked up last minute for her really and is pure luck that we are there at the same time, she is not a diver and her and her boyfriend want to go on a trip to Cairo, but do they need another visa after the one they've already purchased?if so can they get it over there and how can they get it, as they both work non stop monday to friday so they would only be able to get it over there.

any help, much appreciated, thank you

Don't think so Dear, these trips are very common and I've never seen mention of another visa needed

Visas can be purchased on arrival at the airport.

The basic tourist visa is 15 US Dollars and lasts one month (maybe a bit longer, but at least one month).

If you needed to extend it (ie staying for more than one month) you can do it in Cairo. The cost of extension is minimal (a couple of quid).

Worst case scenario for the visa extension just contact the British Embassy in Cairo and have them help.

Hope that helps

Dave
