Thats blatantly someone thinking they're funny who actually just watched the Money Programme (or something like that) on BBC2 a few weeks ago and decided to copy... where the presenter did the exact same thing!

And, as an aside, the experiment failed because they underestimated the postage cost and it actually cost them about £3 or something to sell the "old rope".
