You're not the first to make this assertion/assumption.

When I first met Noel and Dawn (Team Bunny) Johnson at the Dive Show a few years back, he had to double-take and said "What?! You're Bren Tierney?!!" and when I appraised him of the fact that, t'was indeed I, he said that, after my reading my submissions on YD, he'd assumed that I'd be some well-healed tweeded country gent type, a 12-bore split in the crack of my elbow and a couple of gun-dogs yelping at my feet

Finding out I am no more than a thick-necked Manc git with a permanent No:1 and a face for radio came as quite a shock to him
