Unhappy Kitchen Incident

Need some advice

I have just had an accident in the kitchen, cooking rice in the microwave, checking it and putting back in the microwave I dropped the rice cooker slipped on contents and dragged the microwave off the worktop and it has cut a big chunk out of the wall.

Microwave now back on the worktop but should I try and use it ?

I don't want it to blow up or anything.

It would have been cheaper to get a takeaway, hole in the wall and scalded ankle.

What's the worst that can happen? Flames, sparks, electicution.... My experience of these things is that they tend to be ok. Get someone else to plug it in and turn it on - then watch to see the results.

not sure really, did it rattle when you picked it off the floor.
The worst that can happen is the fuse in the plugtop blows iif that happens get a new micro - second thoughts for the cost of a new micro just get one and b on the safe side.

Hi Fi'

someone, somewhere has just got a mint card and the balance has been restored seriously mate hope your ankle recovers quickly, if there is no obvious damage to the oven it should be ok they are pretty sturdy if you have a circuit breaker I would use that to test it though.

Good luck.

Safe diving,
Steve

Hope your okay Fiona?

Always bit of a shock falling over as an adult, you get used to it as a child. Guess its further to fall when your grown up!

I'd just plug it in and see if it still works.
