| Auction site on e-bay...hummm I would be very interested in your opinion on this police auction (hummm) site - everything's £12.99, including Sony laptops..... private feedback, and if you look how many people have forked out £12.99 over the last two days it's frightening.....all the buyers have nearly no feedback ratings, and I fail to understand how when you only have 3 laptops for sale, you can have a purchase history that shows you've sold nearly 80 of them..... Scam, or not? http://stores.ebay.co.uk/iddisap

| The only thing that is £12.99 is an ebook: Quote:

| Read it again. You're buying a book (ok ebook) which tells you where the police auctions are. Not obvious though and I bet there are going to be some unhappy punters. David |

| aha - naughtly bloke / lady - I bet there'll be some very disppointed punters over the next couple of days - I came across it because a work mate had looked at it and almost paid out £12.99 because she thought she was buying a phone. They're all listed under the product too, not as an e-book. Ah, a real case of too good to be true I feel.

| If you look at his feedback he has made comments private. Personally with 9 negative feedback comments I would be wary. |

| Personally I think the seller was pretty clear. eBook in the title, and the following statement in the description: PLEASE READ: The Pictures are for illustration purpose only as this auction is for an ebook and not for any of the items shown. If you want to fork out 12.99 then read what you are buying and don't be a muppet.

| What am I missing....the Buy it Now price on e-bay is £0.99, but the text in the ad states £12.99. Postage is free, so where does the £12 come into it? If I were buying something on e-bay and clicked the buy it now looking like it does, I would be exepcting to get it for 99p...

| I know Lou. I agree. And Woz, I don't agree with you at all, i think it's not clear. It's a rip off - otherwise he would have listed the things under e-books, not tv's or phones.
