Question Poser

You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a valley and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you.

In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is a helicopter flying at ground level. Both the giant pig and the helicopter are also traveling at the same speed as you.

What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

Answer:

Get off the children's carousel and, next time, don't drink so much

Funny enough as travelling along the A14 this evening I was overtaken by a fire engine. They appear to only beable to do 70mph as I had to slow down to let it past.

Later on I saw the result. I burned out lorry, at the head of the 1mile tail back I was just stuck in. Lucky I set off when I did and not ten minutes later.

I was told by the drivers of the engines I did some work with that they are deliberately limited. Maybe too many complaints re speeding engines on the motorways.

I was in one once as it was accelerating, a car overtook and immediately pulled over. It was all the driver could do not to right over the top as were still speeding up!

Good fun to be in though.

SORRY. You are wrong!
The helicopter and the pig will be travelling at the same speed, BUT the fire engine WILL be travelling slower!

Maybe not. If the valley is the inside, then the fire-engine would be on the outside, and therefore it will be going faster.

However, that would also mean it was going anti clockwise, which i don't think they do.

OK... I'll get me coat!

maybe its because they are a goods vehicle technically.

LOL
I can't. I think he popped them in the water supply and as I mustn't waste it I'll just have to consume it all until the effects are suitably diluted.

You should see what it's done to the cats !
