Running the water afterwards is considered polite. Works for men only unless a SheWee is employed. I am either going to get greened for such a great idea or get red blobbed to hell by the priggish brigade.

| On the subject of toilets, it's not just a seat issue. My other half found a large dead blackbird with it's head down the loo the other week (we have a killer cat) and practically accused me of having been to the toilet and ignoring the bird! As if... although I do admit I had to think quite hard as to whether I had been upstairs that evening John R |

| 1. Lift seat. 2. Cover bowl with clingfilm 3. Lower Seat 4. Retreat to safe distance If you are really brave you could point out that they would have noticed if the seat had been up....

| if the toilet seat is down many fella's won't bother to lift it, result wet seat, so I reckon we do you a favour leaving it up [no need to thank us ladies Also it is perfectly acceptable behaviour for a man to pee in the sink as long as you run the taps [beware of southern water restrictions] but take care though, on a rugby tour I stumbled and sprained my ankle when trying out a particularly high sink. Right I'm off, did I leave my coat in the toilet? Safe diving, Steve
