| Try 'Room'. Not the cheapest but quite frankly one of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. Recently tried their branch here in Manchester but it didn't quite measure up to Leeds - just sensational! The menu is a very imaginative interpretation of classic dishes and superbly prepared. Their desert cocktails are something to die for! Can't quite give you the address but it's off a cobbled court yard opposite the bus station.

| Est Est Est Just around the corner from the room - one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Depends what you want and how far your prepared to travel. Bradford has some of the finest curry houses anywhere and only 10 miles down the road. If you want Italian, there is the Flying Pizza near roundhey I believe or there is a place called Da Sandro's just off the Motorway in Huddersfield (4 junctions west on the M62 about 12 miles). The Lasagne is perfect and they do a tremendous 'spicey' dish called Polo D'Avlo (Devils Chicken - I believe.) Fish & Chips? There is a place called the Mermaid @ Morley (5 miles out of Leeds City Centre) there Fish and Chips are fantastic. Stop it now, your making me hungry!

| A bit out of the town centre is Amigos, it's practically opposite Kirkstall Abbey. It does lovely tapas (£15 a head gets you a whole table full of food!) and you can stay in there all night, should you want to! There's a lovely, if slightly pricey, restaurant on the canal side, it's called Cellar something (My brain has ceased to work today), had the most gorgeous meal there for Mr Ruby's graduation. Shogun Teppenyaki (sp?) is in the arches underneath the railway station. Haven't been there but Mr Ruby says it's nice and I sort of trust him... I'd also got for Est Est Est, gorgeous food! Bound to think of more once I've posted, typical!

| There is a Japanese restaurant in the tunnel under the railway station - a few of us went there some time ago on a YD gig. The food is second to none!! The service is superb, personally I rate it as one of the best I have ever been in ...... but I was pretty pissed at the time
