Anything could happen next weekend, although it does look like Alonso has it sewn up as long as he finishes in at least 8th place. Jonathan |

That's two THOUSANDTHS of a second, not two seconds which, in F1, is usually deemed a photo-finish and gives the commentators heart attacks. Yeah, F1's miles better. It has pit-stops, but it's a bit of a damning indictment that the main excitement of F1 happens when they're not actually racing. (Walks away sniggering at the four-wheel-watching-saddos that can't hack actual excitement.) Regards, Mark |

| 4 Riders coming within 1 second: Portuguese Grand Prix result: 1 T Elias (Spn) Honda 46:08.739 2 V Rossi (It) Yamaha 46:08.741 3 K Roberts Jr. (US) KR211V 46:08.915 4 C Edwards (US) Yamaha 46:09.603 Not only, this is a sport where there is still good sportsmanship, not only between riders but riders but also spectators. I went to a motoGP race once and the atmosphere was just fantastic. You had to have seen yesterdays race to know what excitment is.

| If you want really good 4 wheel action watch British Touring Cars, excellent racing and lots of contact and shunting etc, very good action.

| Just caught up with the race (recorded it on video). Fantastic. Two words for you F1 fans: Team. Orders. Don't get any of that crap in MotoGP Things that MotoGP has that F1 doesn't: 1) Personalities. 2) Racing (as opposed to what is basically an extended time trial). 3) Overtaking on most laps. 4) Excellent chance of several different manufacturers winning. 5) No team orders.

| I used to enjoy F1 in the 80's but now it has just become a procession. Moto GP on the other hand is real heart in your mouth, screaming at the television type racing - a real rollercoaster of emotions throughout. I kid you not I was watching a Moto GP race a few months back at my parents house and even they were biting nails and clawing the walls !!! They didn't know one rider from another but appreciated the spectacle all the same. F1 - utter rubbish in my humble opinion G |
