Jacques Cousteau DVDs - Has anyone got them?

I'm thinking of buying a set of Jaques Cousteau DVD's that I keep seeing on Ebay.

One set has 6 DVD's and are some of the films he did, the other set has 18 and are the TV programs that were aired. Both are European editions but are spoken in English.

Has anyone seen either/ Are they good quality? Are they worth watching?

Thanks,

I have a set of these purchased from a company's advert in oine of the dive mags and there are about 18 one hourish long episodes. They are the ones that were aired before I was born !!!!
I have watched about half of them and the ones I have seen are excellent.

They are genuinely interesting, I would have loved to have been involved in his expeditions.....well, maybe if I win that £54million lottery rollover this time I'll set off on some of my own !!

Do you have a link to the items (or a picture of the box covers) so that I can tell you whether they are the same ones that I have. 4DVDs I think with about 18 episodes.

I have a set of 6 DVD's and a set of 18 DVD's, haven't watched all 18 yet, I don't even know if the six are replicated in the 18. The 6 are excellent and the ones from the 18 I have seen have all been very good.

Some tree huggers might not be happy with some of their antics though.

Oh dear. I used to watch them on TV in the early 70s. They are what made me want to dive. Anyone know where I can get a neutrally bouyant zimmer frame?

I got a set of 10 whilst in Oz. Again, this was originally part of my inspiration to dive so I am biased. They are excellent.

I'd imagine a scuba zimmer frame would be quite handy for hanging stage cylinders off...
