Polar Bear Attack!
I've just been sent some pics of a very 'lucky' hunter in Alaska.

Not something I want to post on here, as the pictures of the hunter and the bear are pretty gruesome, but if you are interested, PM me your email and I'll send 'em on!

Already saw it a coupla weeks ago.

It was bloody horrible.

also, get a bigger gun. a 10mm won't have the stopping power to bring a polar bear down. The .50 might but I'd still want to be running away at the time.

I think the noise would scare him off. I fired 5 rounds out of one years ago at the Police Academy indoor range, it scared the living cr_p out of me, 3 hit the target, one in the groin, one in the chest and one through the top of the head. Probably miss anyway but it's big enough that you could beat the average bear into submission with it.

Remind me to tell you what happened when I was 'investigated' by a polar bear once... It was a horrific feeling to suddely realise that you were no longer top of the food chain.
